I understand that this is a contract
between the coaching staff of the 2008 Gig Harbor Little League All Star Team
and me. I understand that my being on the All Star team is a privilege
and not a right. In order to maintain my status as an All Star, I
understand that I will be required to attend all practices and games and be
there on time.
I further understand that I have no
right to expect any playing time (other than the minimum play time required by Little
League). Playing time will be at the sole discretion of the manager and
coaches. I also understand that I have no right to a particular playing
position. Playing positions will be assigned at the sole discretion of
the manager and coaches.
I am aware, that even though I may
have been “a star” or “the star” on my regular season little league team, that
everyone on this team is “a star” and that I might not get to play as much as I
would like, or where I would like. Even so, I understand and agree to be
on time and make all games and practices. I agree to practice, play or
sit on the bench (wherever my team needs me) to the best of my ability, and I
agree to always hustle. I agree not to complain if something happens that
I do not like. I understand the “team
concept” and I agree always to put forth my best effort on
behalf of the team. I will strive to encourage my team, and at all times
I agree to maintain a positive attitude.
I understand that I am a
representative of Gig Harbor Little League. I agree to represent the
league and my team by being the best All Star I can possibly be.

I have read this contract, understand it, and accept its terms and
conditions.

I have read the above, understand it
and agree to help my child abide by this contract’s terms and conditions. I
understand and agree not to pursue any action against the team, Manager,
Coaches or Gig Harbor Little League as a whole, if my child breaks this
contract. I also agree to be a positive role model for my child and
encourage sportsmanship by showing respect and courtesy, and by demonstrating
positive support for all players, coaches, officials, and spectators at every
game and practice.
