GHLL - All Star Selection Policy

· 12’s: All 12 year olds in Majors are eligible to be nominated for tryouts for the 11/12(Majors) all star team.

· 11’s: All 11 year olds in Majors are eligible to be nominated for tryouts for the 11/12(Majors) all star team.  All Majors 11’s, if nominated, must tryout and accept an invite if extended for the 11/12(Majors) team. AAA 11’s not eligible for 11/12(Majors) all star team per LL rules.

· 11’s: Any 11 year old playing in Majors and those playing AAA, who are nominated, will try out for the 10/11 year old all star team.  The 10/11 team will be selected after the 11/12 team and the pool of candidates will include all 11’s not selected to the 11/12 team.

· Majors 10’s:  10 year olds playing in the Majors can opt to tryout for the 10/11 team and will also tryout for the 9/10 team.  10’s who tryout for the 10/11 team must accept an invite to the 10/11 team or be ineligible for any all star team in that year.

· Minors 10’s:  10 year olds playing in the Minors will be eligible to be nominated for the 9/10 team only.

· Minors 9’s:  9 year olds playing in the Minors will be eligible to be nominated for the 9/10 team only

· All nominations and selections are subject to meeting the LL rules for eligibility regarding number of games played, and any other requirements.
