GHLL Volunteer Board Meeting Minutes

Present: Joe Guinn, Cy A. Oatridge, Alec Douglas, Ron Brentin, Curt Morford, Bob Werner, Jenny Bruess, Mike Ditter, Angie Schmidt, Emily Bertram, Eric Thompson, Rick Dowd, Shannon & Andy Cozzoline, Steve Nixon

New Business:

• Joe Guinn started the meeting with introductions for everyone attending.
  
  
• Ron Brentin gave a presentation on the current status of the field’s.
  (batting cages, major fields, tower)
  
  
• Curt Morford spoke about the Sehmel Park meeting he attended last week on behalf of GHLL. Curt put GHLL on their list for use of their larger field for our Junior program.
  
  
• Ron Brentin announced our current registration numbers. Emily Bertram spoke about putting registration on each Peninsula’s School District. Curt Morford mentioned possibly doing walk up registration at try-outs. Discussion followed about different ideas for getting parents to register their kids.
  
  
• Joe spoke about the current calendar of events and locations for the next three months. Discussion followed…
  
  
• Joe Guinn and Bob Werner spoke about the volunteer positions that we still need to field.
  
  
• Joe Guinn spoke about doing a possible GHLL fundraiser with the Tacoma Rainiers.
  
  
• Cy A. Oatridge made a motion to close the meeting.
  
  

Meeting adjourned about 8:25 p.m.
